Transform Hurt Into Wholeness

Traditional psychotherapy can keep you in your head and seem never-ending. Some therapists view you through a lens of pathology and teach you how to cope rather than to heal.

Spiritual practitioners typically focus on love, light, and gratitude, and ignore the subconscious. They give you affirmations and fear sitting with you in the dark.

Transformation and growth happen when you make space for all of what you feel without resisting, vilifying, making it wrong, or seeing it as a problem to be fixed.

You and I will dive beneath the mind and thoughts. We’ll follow the bread crumbs of emotion on a journey to aspects of yourself that froze in time during traumas big and small. We’ll recover parts of yourself you’ve disowned and reintegrate them into wholeness.

We’ll address what’s bothering you right at the root. You’ll let yourself feel vs analyzing thoughts and behaviors. I’ll never diagnose you, and you won’t spend the duration of your time venting. My approach benefits you if you’re committed to personal evolution.

We’ll employ such cutting-edge, modern, evidence-based approaches as The Hakomi Method to create new neural pathways in the brain. You’ll experience lasting change so that you won’t have to learn therapy tools to cope for the entirety of your life.

While each client is different, most report notable internal shifts after one or two sessions. More profound, enduring change can occur after 10 sessions over 2.5 to 5 months.

What Can Somatic Psychotherapy Look Like?

Begin your sessions in a mindful state, tuning into your inner landscape of physical sensations, emotions, curiosities, and imagery. I’ll journey along with you deep into your subconscious while combining my two-year training in The Hakomi Method, a mindful, somatic approach to depth work, with my internal and intuitive guidance on what within you is ready to shift, expand, and reintegrate into wholeness.

  • Try a Therapeutic Approach That Can Make a Real Difference

“Put quite simply, Allison fundamentally changed the course of my life.… I’ve always been a creative individual, but I never had confidence in developing those talents into marketable skills. I can now ecstatically say I am making a solid living as a freelance Art Director who is constantly manifesting the opportunity to grow in directions that stimulate and inspire. My financial life is finally in a healthy place—and I am not constantly afraid of whether or not I can provide for myself.”

  • Therapy That a Highly Sensitive Person Can Love

“Allison has quite simply been a God-send. Her approach … is just what an INFJ like me has been looking for for years. She's been helping me do the hard inner work that I've needed to do, and wanted to do, but not had someone really equipped to be able to help me until I found [her].”

    — Joel G., Mechanicsburg, PA

  • Feel Safe in the Presence of a Fiercely Compassionate, Nonjudgmental Therapist

“I LOVE ALLISON, her energy, empathy, and lack of judgment! I could tell her anything. First time we did depth work, I thought it was odd and a little scary, but I trusted Allison and she seemed so sure and confident in me. Her smile and voice put me at ease. I can’t explain how it happened, but I went from hating myself to having self-compassion and actually liking myself in a few months. I learned how to be empowered rather than feeling sorry for myself or beating myself up. ”

    — Megan B., Gretna, Cumbria, U.K.
